I
Patton Elementary is a wonderful school filled with dedicated and caring teachers and staff. There are super volunteers at Patton and everyone in our neighborhood is encouraged to volunteer as well. Opportunities include working weekly with students in the Read Natually program as well as becoming a mentor. Please contact the school at 414-1780 to see where you can help out.

The Westcreek Neighborhood Assocation met with representatives to discuss Patton Elementary’s “Acceptable” rating with AISD. That is one step above “Unacceptable”. The PTA representatives were very helpful in explaining the current situation and expressed how strongly the felt about Patton being a great school – regardless. The Association plans to work with the PTA to keep communications open so residents know what is going on and together maybe we can find ways to make Patton even a better school.

We have lived in the Westcreek neighborhood since 1983 and both of our children attended Patton Elementary. We currently have a grandchild attending third grade and I have had the privilege of offering after-school care to Patton families for over 23 years. We feel that there is no better elementary in Austin. The staff and teachers are dedicated professionals offering a great education to the children attending the school.
