We walked the new trail this evening and loved it! There are still two large cedar mulch piles to distribute along the trail but we made quite a dent on Saturday! Long pants are a good idea since we spotted some poison oak along the way.

Thanks to all the Westcreek residents and OHTA members who participated. And special thanks to Louis at Bartlett Tree for volunteering his time and mulcher for most of the day!!

The Brush Country Trail Clearing actually started TODAY, at 9 AM. There will likely be some more clean up tomorrow.

I was out there today (inappropriately dressed, I might add--wear LONG PANTS AND CLOSED TOED SHOES) to see what all was going on. This will be such a neat trail if we get more people to come out and help!!!
