I'd love to see Westcreek support a transit system that better serves our neighborhood. If we had better access to the buses and they went to useful places, then we would certainly ride them more. In 1998, I lived in Portland Oregon and got really spoiled by their bus and light rail system. I took the bus every day, in the rain, and never had to walk more than two blocks.

I would love to give up driving up and down Mopac everyday for work and read a book instead, but the current route that goes into downtown and transfers out again takes too long. My husband and I occasionally take the bus to Westgate to shop or to transfer to downtown, but hiking across the soccer fields from the bus stop with bags of grocery is not exactly easy. I've asked CapMetro in the past about putting a stop in front of Burger Center to be able to go to the farmer's market but they didn't seem receptive - maybe I'll suggest it again now that their 2020 Plan is in the works.

I agree with Richie that there should be a bus stop at Wm Cannon and Brush Country, for points along Wm Cannon.

My understanding is a survey will be coming out soon and Cap Metro wants our input. So think about when and where you could use a bus.

I'd like Route 171 (Oak Hill Flyer) to make a stop at Brush Coutry/William Cannon.

I'd like to see the 333 (William Cannon) route come down all the way to 290, instead of turning at Brodie, at least half the time.

I'm very interested in Capital Metro providing better service to our community through this initiative. I've always felt that the "outer" areas of Austin (Oak Hill used to be one) have been left out of the system.

The few times I have used the bus have been very inconvenient. I would like to see Capital Metro increase coverage in our area, making the bus a viable option for all residents.
