AISD Candiate Forum at Mills

The Mills Elementary PTA is sponsoring a candidates’ forum for those seeking seats on the AISD Board of Trustees for District 7 and At-Large District 9.  The forum will be held Wednesday, April 7 at 6:30pm in the Mills Elementary School cafeteria at 6201 Davis Lane.  The event is open to the public.  The forum will be a Q/A style  with questions taken from the audience.  Two candidates are vying for District 7: Incumbent Robert Schneider and former AISD administrator Warren Faulkner.  Five candidates are vying for District 9:  Tamala Barksdale, Cassandra Enoch Brown, Julie Cowan, Dianne T. Mendoza, & Mike Reed.

    The website list here makes strong charges against the incumbent AISD trustees and provides specific details in support of the charges. It includes a call for cleaning house. The candidates should see it and come to their own conclusions.
