Yard of the Month for August was awarded to the Reeve family at 4815 White Elm Drive. Members of the WNA and homeowners in the neighborhood since 1980, the Reeve family love the neighborhood. Their lovely manicured yard of St. Augustine was professionally installed 33 years ago as well as the landscaped beds. Using Liriope and Texas natives like Mountain Laurel, Ajuga, and plumbago, the yard has been an easy one to maintain over the many years they have lived there. Nandinas adorn the front of the house in the well-manicured bed edged by matching white stone that ties into the house.
For winning Yard of the Month, the Reeve family was awarded a gift certificate to Klingemann’s Automotive for an oil change and a $50 gift certificate to Emerald Gardens.
