The June YOM was awarded to Daniel & Laura Del Favereau at 6552 Fair Valley. Pictured with mom & dad are Adelina & baby Daniela. The family has lived in their home for three years and have been gradually making the xeriscape changes to their yard. In the front bed there are succulents, various cactus, Spanish Dagger Yucca, and assorted Agave. In the bed by the driveway, Daniel is focusing on perennials like Henri Duelberg Sage, Penstemon Sage, a small but fast growing Anacacho Orchid tree and other Texas natives. A Desert Willow was recently planted by the back gate & it has taken off in growth! The family looks forward to making some similar improvements to the backyard and adding raised vegetable beds to complement the fruit trees that they have already planted.
