Congratulations to Dennis and Martha Dillon on Earlyway Drive for earning the April Yard of the Month designation! The Dillons have resided in Westcreek for over 27 years and love being part of the neighborhood! They have developed and maintained their own landscape which has been a work in progress over the years. Special features of the yard include various flowerbeds featuring native and drought-tolerant plants. Landscaping of a side fence area with self-sufficient natives, perennials and herbs provides a carefree solution to the hot strip adjacent to the sidewalk. A special feature added this year is some colorful, cactus-style yard art which provides wonderful year-round color! The Dillon’s grown sons even got in on the action by gifting their parents with a custom-made accent planter. Many thanks to the Dillons for the nice example they set in maintaining an attractive yard that we can all enjoy!
