The June 2017 Yard of the Month was awarded to Bob and Helenanne Busa at 6101 Sun Vista. The family celebrates 25 years of living in Westcreek. The harsh, hot and dry summers of 2010-11 motivated them to remove their St. Augustine lawn, replacing it with Zoysia grass which requires less water. Additionally, they planted a majority of the front yard with heat tolerant, booming native plants which have done very well over the years! Thanks to our wonderful YOM sponsors, the Busa’s received gift cards from Leaf Landscape, D’Lites Ice Cream, Flores Mexican Restaurant and Klingemann’s Automotive.
