Yard of the Month for September was awarded to Iris Sims of 6537 Fair Valley. Iris and her family are original homeowners, having lived here since 1983. Pictured here with the YOM sign is Iris with her daughter Chondra Mills and husband Christopher. The yard features lovely Red Bud trees, Texas Hibiscus, and pink Lantana. Additional Lavender plants, Vinca, and Pride of Barbados add color to the yard. The dense St.Augustine lawn is lovingly hand watered by hose early in the morning and late summer evenings by Iris. She says this is her quiet time and she enjoys it!
